My journey to Creative Wellbeing Workshop

Hi 👋 I’m Elizabeth, the creator of Creative Wellbeing Workshop, and I’m passionate 💙 about helping people reconnect with themselves through simple, meaningful creative experiences. My background in childcare, special education, and youth work has shown me the powerful role 🦋 creativity can play in supporting emotional wellbeing. I create gentle, judgement-free workshops where you can explore art, journaling, and reflection 🌼 at your own pace—just as you are.

I started this business from a very personal place. After walking through anxiety, depression, educator burnout, recovery from a heart attack, family trauma, and suicidal ideation, I came to understand how essential healing, connection, and creative expression can be. This work is not just a business for me — it is part of my healing journey and a way to support others with compassion, empathy, and hope.

Our unique approach to creative wellbeing

Elizabeth’s Creative Wellbeing Workshops are designed to be accessible, inclusive, and suitable for people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Programs focus on encouraging self-expression, mindfulness, connection, and personal growth through hands-on creative experiences.

Elizabeth’s approach is strengths-based, participant-centred, and community-minded. She aims to create spaces where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to engage with creativity at their own pace and in their own way.

Professional focus areas:

Who benefits from creative wellbeing workshops?

Elizabeth's Creative Wellbeing Workshops are designed for people of all abilities and backgrounds who are looking for a safe, welcoming space to slow down, connect, and express themselves through creativity. They are especially beneficial for:

  • NDIS participants
  • Older adults and aged care residents
  • People experiencing stress, anxiety, or social isolation
  • Mental health recovery participants
  • Community wellbeing groups
  • Carers and support workers
  • Anyone seeking connection, mindfulness, and creative self-expression

No artistic experience is needed. The focus is on the creative process rather than producing a perfect piece of artwork, making every workshop inclusive and accessible.

Our workshops make the greatest difference when people are:

  • Feeling overwhelmed or stressed
  • Experiencing loneliness or isolation
  • Lacking confidence or self-esteem
  • Navigating life changes, grief, or loss
