Our Philosophy
We believe men’s wellbeing can be supported through purpose, practical activity, genuine connection and a sense of belonging.
Not every meaningful conversation begins by sitting down and talking. Sometimes it begins while building something together, casting a fishing line, sharing a cuppa, working on a project, sitting beside a campfire or simply spending time alongside other people.
At the Heart of Our Philosophy
Give men something meaningful to do.
Give them opportunities to contribute.
Give conversation room to happen naturally.
Give friendships time to grow.
Create a place where people know they belong.
Work. Water. Connection. Wellbeing.
Good mates. Good projects. Good for the soul.
Our Approach
At its heart, the program is simple. Give men something meaningful to do. Give them somewhere comfortable to belong. Give conversation room to happen naturally. Give people opportunities to contribute. And create a community where no one has to pretend to have everything figured out.
Good mates. Good projects. Good for the soul. Men’s Wellbeing – Work, Water and Connection is about more than filling a few hours.
It is about creating a place where men can connect, share, support and thrive through practical experiences, meaningful relationships and everyday moments of wellbeing.
What Is _ and Isn't
What the Program Is — and Isn’t
The Men’s Wellbeing Workshop is a community-based wellbeing and social connection program.
It provides practical activities, social opportunities, creativity, outdoor experiences and supportive conversation.
It is not counselling, psychotherapy or a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.
Where additional support is needed, participants can be encouraged to connect with appropriate professional or community services.
